-Reports- is like having to fight off criminals with AK47s with a bb gun

How many times have I reported blatant toxic players and not even once have I seen any notification that a player has been banned or punished in some way? I feel like reports just don't fucking work, nobody fears getting report because its just a waste of time reporting and typing the reasons for a report unless that said player types any of the blacklisted words like KYS or the N word that player will most probably NOT get any punishment.

Just last game my jungler and mid just kept flaming each other all while playing badly even running it down mid and whats going to happen to those players?

most probably nothing [zombie-brand-clap]

Simply put, your fears seem to stem from not receiving notifications of punishment, but the truth is that those notifications are just infrequently sent out. In addition, punishment is based on both severity and frequency; a player may be toxic and validly reported by you, but they won't earn a punishment unless it's regular behavior for them or the offenses are pretty severe. In the case of racist remarks or threats, those are punished very quickly with bans, even though (as mentioned) you won't always get the notification.

I've seen quite a few punishment chat logs posted here that you can find a line saying "go ahead and report, it won't do anything". It's both funny and sad.

You think the system doesn't work because you don't understand how the system works.

The system punishes based on consistency x severity, meaning one can be punished for 1 game of extreme toxicity or many many games of mild toxicity.

You also only recieve a punishment notification if the game you reported them in shows up in the reform card. Since the reform card only shows placyerd 1-5 recent games as examples of unacceptable behavior, it means the chances of you seeing a notification is incredibly slim.

yes. thank you. glad I am not the only one who sees that reporting others is pointless.

I once have reported 3 different people for respectively using: the k word, the n word, and the acronym for ForGeT. Days after, all of them were still playing. So I can confirm that hate speech is not even an insta ban. It likely boosts your toxic meter to 80% ish and fills the rest with your soft-toxic games.
