Automated Bots in Co-Op vs A.I.

So a lot of times I play bot games to complete the missions or to try out a new champ in an easy environment. Lately I have noticed roughly every game or near close to every game there is an automated bot on my team. I have always just reported them for the cheating offense. Is there anything else I should do? Should I submit support ticket to riot or do nothing? Should I take a video of the bot and submit that as well?

Thanks, I just get annoyed seeing accounts botted to level 30 and then sold to other players. It in my opinion ruins the game to new players trying to level up.

There are so many of them that it really is only worth using the report option and moving on. The automated system tries its hardest to catch and ban them, but it's not very good at doing that in the first place so a manual report in the after game helps. Other than that, not much else needs to be done.

I have 1-3 bot accounts in every single one of my co-op games. I have to rely heavily on my human teammate to work with me on split pushing to win the game. If my human teammate is a genuinely new player or inebriated in some way it becomes near impossible for me to win the game.

I can sympathize with your struggles but there really is not much more one can do about this plague of bot accounts outside of reporting them.

So what do you propose? Riot bans them in waves, but they update their botting program and start again.

Oh I have never had trouble winning with bots on my team. The only time I personally have trouble is when I queue up as a support like Thresh and get more than 1 bot.

I'm also interested in this, because in most of my games I get 4 bot teammates who just run to middle and die, and you can't really win. Is there a way to report them or upload a replay to make sure they're banned forever? If not, they should make it so people can leave those kind of games without penalties. I see more leveling scripted bots nowadays than actual players.

Nope, you're fine with just reporting them. Leaving a comment about what they did that tipped you off in the report box at the end would be a bonus.

Call Marc Merrill, he probably knows.
