Context: Our Tryndamere who is 6/12/4 by the end of the game is repeatedly dying to try to get towers with his ultimate, but is failing many times and is blaming our team. I am a 9/4/9 Gragas who was in a match against another higher ELO Gragas, who by the end I was winning against. After Tryndamere imposes is jackassery on the team for a bit, I politely ask for the other team to report him (I only ask once).

This is how you defend yourself without being punished. The worst thing you've said in the entire chat was still pretty polite.

Lol ya. When he asked why i didnt ult one time I said I was new to Gragas (this was my second game as him). Later he said "you know I think your new to jungle" and I said "ok". Then he said "I cant carry this shit team", to which my favorite line to respond is "mhm".

Can you link to where it says its not allowed? I never knew that. Not like I needed to ask often, I just sometimes mention it after game.

Asking for reports is generally pretty useless... One report is as good as nine, when it comes to a single game. However people on boards like to exaggerate. There's been a redpost clarifying that asking for reports in itself isn't bannable. It's mostly how you do it. A lot of people are just asking for reports as a form of passive aggression.

Just words of advice here. Try to refrain arguing 1 sided obtuse views. Especially to your teammates. It's simply not conducive to winning.

Let's say that everything you said about Tryndamere is correct. He was split pushing and dying all game constantly. The most you can do is ask him to group, if he refuses and is ignoring you. There is nothing you can do but play around that fact. Saying you are doing - this - this - this wrong is something I see all the time in Solo Q. What is most amusing about the people who usually point out other flaws is that they are usually doing a book full of flaws I just don't take the time to point all of them out.

There not much very good points you are making even while arguing against him. They are pretty much all moot points. You are team. Every has their role. His loss is as much his fault as yours.

My chat during the game as he acted like this consisted of "ok", "mhm" and "try to group". I said near to nothing except the after game chat, where he started flipping on me. There is a small amount of chat above what is shown here where he calls me some more profanities. He was mad because he thought I was a terrible jungler who didnt gank enough, which I did gank and ganked evenly among all lanes.

I wasn't trying to make "good points" during this argument, and was trying to just let him vent and tire himself out. There is no way to reason with someone that mad, so keeping calm and just letting the person vent is the best option.
