you can even mute pings and emotes so what is the big deal if some kid flames it's like yelling at a wall if u all mute him stop being so overdramatic about every little toxic thing because that's ruining the game, not the toxic kids.

So, yeah, you’re right - there is a mute button. I will certainly mute that player so I don’t have to deal with their toxicity for the rest of the game.

I’ll then report that player so no other players have to deal with their toxicity in other games.

You can mute AND report him. It's a win/win for everyone.

Just wanted everyone to know you don't have to be an assclown to strangers.

The mute button is meant to be a band-aid solution at most and does not give flamers and verbal abusers a "get out of jail free" card for their behavior. If you can't interact with others in a mature and respectful manner even after being given multiple chances to do so then why should you be allowed to continue playing the game? As far as giving advice is concern even if you're polite and respectful about it if it's clear that they won't listen then you should just drop it and move on rather than use that as an excuse to flame them. If they wouldn't listen to you before-hand then you flaming them gives them even less of a reason to listen to you and what you have to say.

I also find this statement by you contradictory:

[{quoted}](name=report yasuo,realm=NA,application-id=ZGEFLEUQ,discussion-id=7AxFuXf7,comment-id=00020000000000000000,timestamp=2018-04-08T02:33:25.878+0000)

And I can control my temper I choice not to because some kids deserve it.

You're getting onto people about using the mute button yet you're the one choosing to rage and flame like a little kid simply because people aren't doing what you want them to do. If you want people to listen to you then don't devolve into a toxic jerk whenever things don't go your way and control your temper like you claim that you're able to do. Besides, just like in most real life establishments Riot doesn't care who started it as they'll gladly punish all involved in the fight-this isn't Kindergarten or Preschool after all.

Basically just grow up and stop looking for an excuse to be a toxic jerk to people and expecting that people will just magically conform to your behavior alone.

Despite the downvotes, the post is very true, the community just happens to be allergic to truth. To those saying that this issue needs to be fixed, there's only one way to do so... Getting rid of communication entirely. It's just common sense that out of the massive player base people will be toxic and even if banned can just make another account. Moreover even those who aren't toxic can stoop to the same level with at the minimum being passive aggressive. It's a competitive game, people will get irritated if someone does not perform well and is largely the source of much toxicity. This is just something people will have to get used to, out of the many years of complaints you can clearly see the issue is not being solved, so either deal with it or advocate removal of communication.

-Sincerely, an intellectual

Edit: If you downvote how about you debate why I'm wrong unless you're scared. ;)
