Why do I have to continue to try to "do my best" in that or any situation where someone is actively trolling the match on my team.

U go on his lane and take lane farm. Alot of top laners actually farm top part of jungle if their lane matchup is too difficult. Its better to do that until minion wave gets to your turret than to stay in middle of lane risking dying.
There isn't a lot you can do except go top, the automated system doesn't punish that so he'd have to have a TON of reports for doing that and have someone manually ban him.
If you're getting taxed a lot as a jungler stop talking in champ select, your personality might annoy people.
Well he also told our mid to "kill themselves".
I get that if he is doing bad in lane he can have some camps that's fine...That's not what happened here. He went to the bot lane side and cleared those camps too after I pinged at him not to.
I can honestly say given the chance I would beat this person until they're unrecognizable, but I didn't say a single word. I just reported after the match and moved on.

you cant do anything because if you say anything negative youllbe the one getting reported for verbal abuse since all top did was kill a monster in the jungle
