Please upvote to help me get attention from a Rioter instead of just the support bot responses

Hello, 6 months ago I was wrongfully banned for using 3rd party programs. This was due to two ranked games after someone hacked me and used a bot program to go 0/25 in two ranked games in June, going 0/25/1 Riven and 2/21/5 Thresh. I contacted Riot about this but they gave me a bot response with no help.

[{quoted}]My original post: > I play on a mac with OsX and it's impossible to even run scripts and modifications with osx. > They won't even hear me out and closed my case just like that. > > It's not me who played those games , my account was legitimately compromised because (quite stupidly) my username and password were the exact same. Someone accessed it and did those two games, then spent all my IP and deleted my pages. It was my fault for putting that password but Riot won't even investigate to see that it wasn't me who did those games. > > I swear on my life that I never downloaded any third party. Is it possible that I had malware or something that the system detected? > Two years of my life and countless money down the drain and the worst part is I'm completely innocent of the accused offense. > > Someone please help me. Their system is wrong here and I'm legitimately crying because of all the time and work I spent on the game. > Could you guys please upvote or something so a Riot representative can see and help me out?"

Now I'm trying this case again, all they need to do is check the IP used to play the games and they'd see it's not mine. I'm hoping to get an actual EMPLOYEE to help me and check the IP instead of a bot support response.

I'm asking you guys to please upvote this so it can get attention from a Player Support specialist who can give me the time of day. Been playing since 2014 and this hurt me so much and made me lose faith in Riot, but I'd really like my hard work and money returned,

They don't typically remove punishments that occur while your account was compromised because the offenses still harmed other players and your allowing the account to be compromised resulted in that. That it wasn't you playing isn't the issue.

Also, Player Support responses are not bots, the decision was made by a person. You can request they look at your case again if you want.

Goodluck OP, their detection methods are shit and once they wrongfully ban you, you're sadly gonna have to accept their bullshit reponses unless you get attention here.. Upvoted.

ask them to forward you to the fraud dept and check if there was any suspicious activity

They unfortunatley can't use IP addresses as a method of determining fraud. For instance, my family lives in a different state. If I go to visit them one weekend and play my account on my brother's computer, the system would show that I have one IP address I usually play on (home) and then this other one I've used at my brother's. Additionally, there's a local store in my city where you can play League on their systems. If I chose to play here, it would also show a different IP address, even if I am the one playing my account. This is why using IP addresses isn't a viable solution to determining fraud.
