I'm fairly positive, that I'm not the only one, who has gotten a Queue Delay from lagging in champ select. There has been multiple times to me, where this has happened, I never had this problem in the old client. I really think that you shouldn't get a Queue Delay if you don't ban a champion.

Kei1432 votesThe beta client is certainly a WIP and has performance issues.
If you continue to get those problems, you can try the new client in "low spec mode" (or potatoes mode) or just revert back to the legacy client until the next patch where they will have more performance upgrades.
BTW, Queue delay (obtained from dodging or not banning a champion) is different from the Low Priority Queue for Leaver Buster. Don't confuse the two!
