Hextech Crafting Restrictions

#HEXTECH CRAFTING RESTRICTIONS

If you've been punished by the instant feedback system recently for negative behavior, you'll be locked out of earning chests and keys from playing games until you've shown progress toward positive play.

The length of time you're restricted from earning loot is relative to two things:

  • Severity of punishment. You won't earn loot for the duration of your punishment, be it a temporary suspension or a chat restriction.
  • Signs of reform. Once your punishment has ended, you'll continue to be restricted from earning loot until you're recognized to have made significant progress in amending your past behavior.

Stay focused on solid comms, teamwork, and sportsmanship in your games and you'll be earning chests and keys sooner rather than later.

#REFORM PERIOD

Once your punishment ends, you'll enter a reform period, during which you'll remain ineligible to earn Hextech Chests and Keys. Ending this reform period requires consistent displays of good sportsmanship. Your reform period isn't over after a speicifc number of games, or after a certain date, but is completely dependent upon your behavior.

#PHILOSOPHY

A good game of League involves three elements: strong individual performance, great teamwork, and stellar sportsmanship. Hextech Crafting is designed to support these elements. You or a premade partner need to achieve an S rank or above to earn a chest, and you must accomplish that in a way that supports positive play. This doesn't mean you need to be an outspoken pillar of the community; contributing quietly to the team while still listening to and providing communication necessary to the game's success is enough.

#FAQ

Why am I still ineligible for crafting rewards after my punishment ends?

  • The reform period lasts longer than the punishment duration. Show consistent improved behavior, and you'll become eligible again in no time.

Why can't you tell me exactly when I'm going to be eligible?

  • Eligibility is dependent on a consistent display of good sportsmanship, not just "be nice in X number of games or days." Negative behavior during this reform period will cause it to last longer.

How long does it usually take for someone to be eligible again?

  • There is no specific timeframe for eligibility, and the length of the reform period may vary on a case by case basis. It all depends on the severity of your punishment, and on your behavior moving forward.

TLDR: Doesn't matter, keys drop 1 in 100 games, you're fine.

So by "no time" what exactly is that meaning? No concept or figure for when I'll be "eligible"? You don't give a concrete time or answer? Considering I was right in the argument that happened, you people owe me big time. Plenty of games have passed where I could have had 10 treasure chests by now.

GET IT? I WAS RIGHT. That person was harassing, game ruining and cheating and I instead got chat restricted? Wtf is your problem? That's some hoodlum black kid spewing out all this offensive crap and you pick them over me? What does that make YOU then, whoever you are who restricted me?

If it's some 14 year old "sittin at tha tribunal" then straighten out the system for christ's sake so people aren't getting restricted for no reason.

GIVE AN ACTUAL ANSWER, IT'S NOT SO HARD.

46 games and 3.5 months later... absolutely no drops and absolutely no indication of progress. This system is ridiculous and this post explains nothing. How is anyone supposed to "reform" when nobody even explains what the criteria for "reform" even are?

Funny, I have good behavior without ever getting into trouble, but I can't get any key drops since last month. I feel like i'm being punished by the system despite Hextech Crafting's free.

I was in a game with a clan and I started poorly and we all have those games right? well the whole clan started bashing me and called me names and made fun of my name and so on, i responded in a negative matter yes but they all were ready to report me anyways so I'm getting fucked no matter what. I got banned from getting loot and its been almost a month and i still am not able to get loot. I understand the system needs to be harsh but why weren't they punished for their behavior? The report system is unfair. I shouldn't have to play countless games to prove I can play respectfully when I have done so the entire time. It's like they ignore all the good behavior i have done and purely judge me off that one bad game i had with that troll clan. I even made a ticket and got a smart ass response saying what this post already says. It's like they automatically side with a clan simply because they are a clan. I'm sure other adults play this game and get stressed when they have to spend more countless hours proving they can play respectfully when they already have many times like me. I did say some pretty nasty things to them, but why not when they all are hounding you down and reporting you anyway based on your name and early performance? I was angry i said i was gonna feed the other team cause why play with a toxic team that doesn't even give a shit anyway? i never actually feed them on purpose cause they felt it was okay to bash me and clearly its OK to do that if your in a clan. I'm about to quit playing this game. I'm sure the staff or anyone else doesnt care but why support the people that are trashy and make it their life to bash others? Was it really JUST that I was punished for this long and still punished? it makes me wanna slap the fuck out of the staff for not understanding what respect is. I don't really mean that but surly if you were put though this situation which im sure many have then you would understand my frustration. Can a staff member show me there is actual HOPE in the staff and actually do the right thing? I don't have a good PC right now and this is really the only fun game i can play and now i cant even enjoy it thanks to a troll clan you guys support more then a actual respectful person. Do I need to write a novel saying how sorry I am for bashing back at a relentless clan?

this is just so stupid.. as lots of people said. i have the same prob..when someone harassed you and u only said few things back, u'll get banned and.. the ineligibility of earning loots is so uncertain. " UNTIL YOU VE SHOWN improvement.. " when? only God knows.. because trolls.. are exist and never stop harassing you. gg rito:

Okay i got 2 weeks ban for being toxic in return to toxic offensives, which I can understand. After the ban was over there were no chat restrictions like before. But even 3 months later, without new bans or chat restrictions I STILL DON'T RECEIVE ANY MORE HEXTECH DUE TO NONELIGIBLE BEHAVIOUR.

Looks like a perma ban.

SO FUCK YOUR SYSTEM AND FUCK YOU RITO

I'm just here to tell everyone why dynamic queue is wonderful when you're a solo player

RedTao6/23/2016, 8:40:52 PM2 votes

I was declared reformed for changing nothing in my behavior. If you want to be declared reformed and get loot, just keep doign what you're doing. Riot doesn't care what you're doing, they don't even check who they're rewarding.

This vague, shit system is just one more chip in the wall that will eventually crumble. This isn't a fucking daycare for 10 year olds.
