Snowflakes at Riot

Since when in a game is it bannable to objectively explain how one player made a game losing mistake? The moment you critique someone else in League they go behind their little defense of “hm I will report you” with their arms crossed. Doesn’t matter if you’re using hot words or phrases like loser, kys, or r%%%%%. All it takes is some player to feel like they aren’t bad at the game and the other guy flaming me is a meanie!! All the league players use the word toxicity too, well, frequently. “Toxic” is a trite word now, it has no meaning. It is not toxic to explain how someone messed up, but it’s toxic to hide behind your report button if you don’t want to deal with the fact that you’re not as good as you think. This community is pathetic. Riot doesn’t engage with their consumers, instead they do what’s best for the 2% of players in esports. Listen to your boards, balance the game, and holy fuck they balance this game slower than Hearthstone.

Because you are not in charge and nobody is required to listen to you. So "objectively explaining" (pretty sure you mean flaming) when someone makes a mistake is pointless and doesn't get you any closer to winning the game.

seems like you feel you are the snowflake who needs to have special treatment and rules applied to them so they can be an ass to every one and get away with it

Except there is no one "game losing mistake". If you didn't make the countless mistakes you made earlier on in the game(and yes, you made many mistakes early on, even players like faker have room for improvement) the game would've been in a much better spot. So what's the point in flaming a teammate over a mistake?

Ironic, considering most toxic players flame because they can't accept that they're not as good as they think they are.

Riot creates rules for money. Its the players that you should be considering snowflakes (even though snowflake has become a trite word). Riot just wants them to play their game. When tons of players quit the game for a specific reason (being flamed too often), the company is gonna make rules against that thing. Its capitalism. They just want the largest playerbase possible. Nothing snowflakey about that.

Since when is it so much to ask that people not be assholes to each other?

comms arn't worth using in league anymore. Anything slightly negative you say is bannable. Comms were meant for encouraging teamwork and cooperationship but clearly have deteriorated with the community nowadays. All you need is the ping system for communication imo.

The less you care about your games, the better off you are. Riot has a tendency to throw out zero-tolerance here and there so you're better off not caring and thus not saying anything in the game. If you see someone throwing it might be better just to alt-f4 and save yourself from getting angry and triggering banbot. leavebuster is alot more leinant with punishment then IFS is for calling someone a feeder.

It's not your job to tell someone else why they lost the game for the team. It's your job to play, and the chat is for in-game communications relevant to winning the game, not blaming others.

Yup, Riot doesn't care about its players at all.

I recently got a chat restriction because I told someone who kept calling me a 'trash %%%%% who should kill himself like all %%%%%s' to just shut the fuck up. Whereas he didn't get anything (I am assuming since I did not get a message saying the report did something).

Because 4 premades calling you racial slurs reporting you have more morality and influence than you saying the f-word and reporting them for racism.

Chat logs, perhaps, with this constructive feedback?

The snowflakes must be taken care of. Active Trolling & griefing is allowed in game and will never be punished
