Let's have a serious discussion about the magical .006%

I was permabanned on an account a while back, It's whatever though. I'm level 30 on my new account and I've reformed I suppose.

My chat logs weren't overly toxic, but toxic nonetheless. But here's the thing, I see at least one player being more toxic than my permaban chatlogs every game/every other game.

If I see this every game/every other game without even typing in the chat, where does .006% even come from?

For this to be correct, that means only 1 player out of every 1600 games is toxic enough to be banned.

1600 GAMES

But how can this be true when I see players being more toxic than I ever was multiple times a day? I really don't get it man.

From my perspective, if 1 out of 10 is 10%, then I'd say around 7% of all players in my games are more toxic than I have ever been in my life.

7% is a whole lot more than .006% even .6 would be better. But .006%? Riot has got to be trolling with that number.

While I don't buy the.006% stastic, I think it would be around there. The stastic is the amount of players who are permabanned, not those who are toxic. Let's face it, we've all been toxic at one point, is about the consistency of being toxic that gets you punished. Considering there are millions of accounts on the NA server alone, very few get permabanned.

The numbers Riot use, are outdated and probably manipulated to their favor. Even just take into account what you're saying, forget everything else. What that number now means is "we punish .006%". Not that they deserved it, not that others didn't deserved it. Just that they punished that % of people.

We don't do serious discussions on these boards, we only pleasure rito in the hopes that they will give us pretty colored names one day.

What most people dont understand is that almost everyone has a different opinion on what toxic is. To some cursing is, to just having a negative behavior. Then you have to remember that this only happens once in a while to some people. So they dont get punished because they are toxic in all their games. so you cant really put them in with people who actually breaks the rules regularly which resulted in some types of punishment.

Also note that we cant really get a good detail on the matter because we dont have an exact number of accounts, let alone the fact that loads of people have smurf accounts. Then you need to dismiss botted accounts, or accounts that get ban that arent from toxic behavior. Im pretty sure this game has much more than a million players. so out of a million players (to keep it simple) .006% doesnt seem like that much.

99% of Riot's stats on behavior are fabricated.

If prisoner island is actually in effect, you would see toxic players a lot as you yourself behaved in a toxic manner and got sent to prisoner island. '#tinfoilhat

That % are the number of players that are permabanned.

They claim that most people get reformed / stop being toxic before they hit permaban status.
