About report weighting

I see people say this sometimes:

"If you make false reports the system lowers your credibility."

My question is, why?

It should be report = audit; every time.

I think Riot is not confident in their own system.

It should be report = audit; every time.

That would make it impossible for the system to have any responsiveness to the community. Let's say that you jokingly called someone a "useless f__kstick" but no one reported you, which is one of the ways the player base makes its desires known. Under your system, there would be millions of unnecessary reviews, jamming up the system.

all reports do is trigger an algorithm to check and see if you're swearing or making inhuman movements(scripting)

if they say anything else happens they're lying so you don't get outraged that a billion dollar company isn't trying at all.

While it's automated, it's not instant. It still takes time to analyze every report. I'm not sure how report weight works exactly with the new system though.

i agree that report weight has no place in an automated system.
