Don't get why this guy doesn't get reported.

Had a game where my friend had to leave because her grandma had to be rushed to the hospital. Team told enemy team to report her for leaving and the enemy maokai said "I hope she dies." I'm the only one who reports this guy and yet he said something like that. Why doesn't someone who says such a sick thing get at least a chat mute?

Because people have a bias. If it interiors gameplay, it's reportable. If it's offensive to THAT degree, it's not reportable. If you think it's bullshit, you're absolutely right.

Some people just take it to the extremes :
I'm sorry your friend had that happen to them!

  1. You don't need multiple people reporting a person to get the system to check for toxicity.

  2. People need to show consistent toxicity to be punished by the system. We don't know what the person's behavioral history is like. This could be his first game he said something like that, but we'd never know.

  3. You only get a punishment notification if your game was the one that punished them, not while it is building a case against them. They could be punished next game and you'd never know.
