Request: Allow Leave Buster players to browse client

Hello Riot,

I realize I have been slapped yet again with a Leave Buster for 20 min x 5 because I kept lagging out of a game. I have come to accept the Leave Buster status and do my best to play only in stable conditions so that the present state isn't repeated. While I understand that the idea is to punish those who make the game less enjoyable I was hoping you could make one minor tweak.

Can we please have access to the client while we are stuck in Leave Buster mode? I would love to be in crafting or perhaps building out rune pages while I wait. As it stands currently anyone with the Buster status has to stare at the screen if they are in the client with no form of entertainment. I have often turned to other games/TV during this time and ultimately decide to stick with those. If you lift the client lockout I would likely spend more time in it and ultimately spend more money on your game.

Just a thought.

9 people had no such option being trapped in an unfun game of 4v5 (fighting 4 enemies as 5 is not fun either) when you afk or frequently lagged out. I get that there are things beyond your control. I also afk'd in a few games because of unforeseen things. However, when you get to the point of 20 minutes LPQ, you have ruined games for many, many, many set of 9 people (yes, even if it is not within your control, it is still a very large number) in many games. It is only fair that you also get put in an unfun situation as those many set of 9 people were in. It is called a PUNISHMENT. There shouldn't be any accommodations.

Totally agree. Sitting there through the low prioty part of queue can be extremely boring. not allowing you to send messages to friends or change rune or open capsules/chests.

I wouldn't say this goes in here.... try client discussions! (proceeds to not link it becuase that requires too much work and I'm tired)

but after all,this is a great idea. but unlike other lobbies, there isn't too much to do in the league client. the ideas you suggested is great! but not everyone has the money for boxes, so its pretty much just a 5 minute thing, unless you can get a gemstone out of each chest, There isn't that many possible builds for runes any more, you can preset the rune page for the champ you plan on playing takes 10 seconds, and it would take a little more for other champions.

Its a great idea! but there isn't that many things you can do. maybe a small hidden mini-game like the dinosuar game in google?
