I just won a recent match as a support but lost 32 LP. Now in the first 5 minutes, I had to AFK for a few minutes due to an IRL issue but I warned my team and they were all accepting of me when I came back. On top of that, I was not hit with any AFK buster or slashed out icon at the end, yet I suffered a massive LP hit somehow.
Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated as I do feel this is a larger issue that could impact future play.

I do not think this is a thing.. I have had to afk for a few minutes in matches before and still was credited with the win.
We have seen a few posts now from people with LP issues.. I think it is probably part of a larger issue with that algorithm.
Inignok1 votesI have had to afk before and have even been logged out for it. I received no acknowledgment for playing the rest of the game and was actually x'd out at the end. Those instances I understand. This was just the standard, "you are appearing to be afk" warning text that I was met with. I was back before it kicked me and I finished the entirety of the game with no flame or issue from my team.
To be docked in this instance seems mathematically off to me, hence why I think it is a bug.
