Using pings to "tilt" your teammates only brings your win rate down

Pings are meant to share valuable information with your teammates without having to stop and type. They can go from "focus this guy" to "I think there's a guy hiding in this bush".

If you flame the guy and you see he hasn't replied to your inflammatory comments for the past 5-10 minutes, just assume he has muted you and play the game the best you can. Resorting to "imma spam ping this guy because I died, or because he died, or because he fucked up" is very detrimental to your success, as the majority of the time, the person will then also mute your pings if he sees you're abusing them to try to tilt him instead of to try to win the game.

Pings are vital and can win/lose you games depending on whether you use them properly or you abuse them when chat flaming isn't enough for you.

Use pings wisely!

no, if im too relaxed and stop caring about my teamates mistakes, they become more relaxed as well, a ping helps trigger them and keep their mind in the agme, without impacting my honor level. I tried using pings nicely, didnt work out, i always use pings very aggresively and commonly and spam pings on the enemy jungler while spamming pings on my teams mistakes so they can play better. if im in a tilted state, i don't ping as much, and that causes me to lose more games. muting is for people who don't like communicating to win and people willing to acknowledge their mistakes

i keep chat off screen and if they ping spam me i mute the pings, thus cutting off their only method of communicating with me. if you aren't gonna use them for their intended purpose then there is no reason to see them. and if they are flaming in chat in game chances are it'll carry over to post game and there i can quietly report them and move on.

People who spam ping to annoy teammates are mentally ill. Same applies to those who get mad over a single be careful ping.

You don’t realize just how great pings are until you’re in the middle of a fight as Mordekaiser with Yummi attached and you ping R then Careful and she hops off in time for you to ult the assassin coming in from the back.

I only use missing pings to flame the enemies. I know they can't see it and stuff, but when I see an enemy yasuo dash around like an idiot and just die I'm pinging him

League players have extremely fragile mental states. toxic pings, toxic texts, etc reduces your chances of winning pretty hard. Riot wasn't kidding when they said toxic players lose more.
