So I just reported a player for going afk and being a general douche in game. I got a notice in game saying something along the lines, "You report helped punsish player..." This is the first time Ive seen this. Is this a new feature? If not, that means all those AFKs I report (and there are a lot) go unpunished.
No, it just means your report was the one to trigger the punishment.
it has been there for a long time, but you only get it if YOUR report was the final one to get him punished. So if one AFKer has 10 reports, and you report him for the 11th time which gets him punished you get a notice, but if you reported him before this and another players gives the final 11th report you aren't notified.
It's an old feature.
However, you only get it if your report was in the final one which triggered the punishment.
If you reported someone and they were banned after their next game, you wouldn't get the notification.
