Perma Ban with no warning

My friend just had it happen to him, and I've seen it talked about a number of other times. This is not cool. To ban someone without warning gives them no chance to change or get better, and pisses me off as a player. I consider myself to be a positive player, but the fear that I could get perma banned so quickly even after playing this game for 5 years and have no warning about it is enraging. I'd expect in a very high number of cases a 2 week ban would work just as well.

I know my one post I expect will not make a difference, but I can still hope.

My understanding is you can get a perma ban without these steps in between, like you can go directly from nothing to perma ban in the right cases(not talking about hacking or something, just being a dick in game(and I'm not saying it's ok wit be a dick, nor am I saying it's a bad thing to punish for it, but 0 to perma ban is to harsh)). It is very posible there is more to the story with my friend, but that's his bussness not mine. I've seen more than one post saying they go perma banned without warning. It is possible those are also not the entire story.

If the post you linked is correct, then Riot has it's shit together as those are fair punishments for the most part. I'd hope there are some lesser slap on the wrist things as well for say a single game that was not really that bad but still not ok.

I've never heard of perma ban without warning unless they were hacking the game or something like that.

Maybe this post will clear things up. Of course it could be for another reason. You should ask your friend what is the series of numbers on his reform card. We can figure out why he was banned using this post. Hope this helps.

Heard of a few perma bans that skipped the usual chat restrictions and temp bans and they usually were the result of the most severe toxicity and/or disgusting username choice. In both cases, Riot made the right call.

Please post your logs if it was a toxicity ban. Otherwise if it was a eloboosting/other punishment, try a ticket.
