Letting someone borrow your account

OKAY SO THIS ISN'T ABOUT RANKED

I've got a buddy that's like level 14 and I wanna let the try characters in bots before the commit to buying it with ip (which you'll remember is really hard to do and justify at that early level when you're saving for the lvl 20 runes).

Is this allowed? Again, it would only be for bot matches. Not even normals cause God knows they're not ready to face that XD

This isn't allowed under account-sharing rules. No sharing of accounts is allowed. I know it's annoying, but it's a rule there for a good reason - It protects the account-holder (IE, you!) from potentially getting disciplined over something you didn't do. The forums (used to be) rife with the tales of people who got banned because 'their friend' who 'they trusted' wound up scripting, cheating, or just being toxic as hell. Not to mention Elo-boosting.

It isn't allowed but it would be very hard to prove you are doing so unless the friend lives very far away, if she's just playing on your pc they have absolutely no way of knowing who is playing and the rule that bans it are made to prevent you being banned for their action like Trylobyte mentioned or people ruining the games for others ( Such as a bronze player playing their diamond friends game ). If she's just using your account on bots I don't think Riot will take any action even if they suspect its not you playing and if you live in an area close to them it would be impossible for them to punish you as it could be you logging in from a different computer.

In short: Yes it's against the rules but I believe you'll be fine as long as no one is losing anything from it, IE Bots.

Although I understand your thought process, I would not risk it. Account too valuable.
