And riot need to realize that

I am not saying that being toxic is good but when it come to what is more serious

WELL THE ONE CAN BE DEALT WITH A MOUSE CLICK THE OTHER AFTER YOU WAIT 15-20 MINUTES SO YOU CAN FF AND MOVE ON

GUESS WHO IS WHAT.........

So HOW ABOUT fix a system that catch trolls? and stop creating systems that catch toxic behavior? we already have that its done DO SOMETHING ABOUT TROLLS NOW

Ok thanks!

Yes. Agreed. A toxic person can be muted. But a troll wastes 30 min of your time.

Riot does realize that. Riot agrees with your assessment.

That's why verbal offenses get 10-game and 25-game chat restrictions, while trolls and feeders immediately get 14-day suspensions when caught.

Do you remember when Riot gave out ludicrously large chat restrictions? What effectively amounted to permanent chat restrictions? It caused some people, unable to get their frustrations out in chat, to troll, feed, or otherwise grief their team. Riot ended permanent chat restrictions because it caused an increase in trolling. They decided that it was better for someone to partake in chat offenses than gameplay offenses.

Obviously, they want neither. Chat offenses are super easy to detect (in fact, a bot does it). Trolling and feeding, however, has a HUGE noise-to-signal ratio. It makes it harder to detect, and subsequently causes the illusion that Riot doesn't care about trolls.
