But how long does it take them in order to ban a troll? last time i saw some1 getting banned was that sion ornn mid guy who got 511 reports in one month, according to Tantram, just to get 14-day banned Soooo I just need to get 10-15 reports per day in order to get banned? You know very well that people are rarely responsible with reporting. That any time someone has negative score you have people yelling for reports. How do you make difference between real troll and someone having a bad game?
Take a look at this thread:
Guy got banned under category of "intentional feeding" because it includes "assisting enemy team" too. He ended 1/1/2. Yet you can obviously see that he was griefing when u check his performance(1k damage to enemy champs in 30 mins) and his participation. He tried to troll subtly, yet he got caught. Dont say they dont get caught. They do. A lot. They just rarely complain on forums so you dont see as many threads as for chat toxicity.

112 reports (if I'm correct)? So 112 people needed to report him so riot can actually do something.... Sorry to say but shit like this should be red flagged after 50 reports at worst. Say whatever you want, but over and over again riot proved us they are taking trolls too lightly

Oh shit, sorry I was looking at the URL and I just read '14-day-intentional-feeding-ban-with-112-score', I thought it was 112 negative score which lead to a ban xD My apologies mate :/ I looked into his match history, the post is 2 days old, and the game he got banned for is 7 days old, so from that game to the ban it took 5 days am I correct? That's....not gonna say slow but it's definitely not fast.. This is just my opinion, but I honestly think that a company, with the most popular game on Earth under it's belt, should be more stricter and faster with banning trolls Good for them, but this is just one case where they responded pretty quickly Why weren't they so fast with a case of a guy gathering 511 reports in one month? Why didn't that one 1/21/1 Zed with 6x tears (one guy posted about this case i think a week ago) got banned? Or 1/18/4 ad kassadin (although I'm not sure that's a troll but I would bet he wasn't going into the game with an intention to win) Pretty sure there are more cases like this posted on the Boards, but this one are I remember the best.

They don't have to watch every replay. They can set some limitations on how many times you can get reported until you get some sort of punishment ( X reports / Y games ), set some punishemnt levels (2 warnings, 14-day, perma).. Of course, set numbers of reports in a way that you won't get abused by premades, but make sure that in 15 games at max you get some sort of punishment. Or they can make Tribunal 2.0... I'm fully aware that shit didn't work but they could tweak it so problems from the previous Tribunal are fixed, start some beta testing (recruit couple thousand of players per server), if that works, roll with it. The company with resources worth billions of dollars could and SHOULD be capable of making it work, be it Tribunal or something else. Riot isn't small indie company baby anymore, safe to say it's about damn time for them to get more serious abut this.

They CANNOT ever set any punishment based on NUMBER of reports. People dont use report system properly.

That's why verbal offenses get 10-game and 25-game chat restrictions, while trolls and feeders immediately get 14-day suspensions when caught.
Do you remember when Riot gave out ludicrously large chat restrictions? What effectively amounted to permanent chat restrictions? It caused some people, unable to get their frustrations out in chat, to troll, feed, or otherwise grief their team. Riot ended permanent chat restrictions because it caused an increase in trolling. They decided that it was better for someone to partake in chat offenses than gameplay offenses.
Obviously, they want neither. Chat offenses are super easy to detect (in fact, a bot does it). Trolling and feeding, however, has a HUGE noise-to-signal ratio. It makes it harder to detect, and subsequently causes the illusion that Riot doesn't care about trolls.
