Definitely reportable, yes. Insults as a whole are reportable, and this one is no different.

Not at the moment, and it's a volunteer position. We do occasionally put recruitment posts up on Discuss the Boards though.

That said, comments like this one are perhaps not ideal if that's something you'd be interested in applying for. This sort of thing wouldn't fly on the boards any more than it would fly in-game.

yea fair point, I just wanted to see a few things. I wouldn't mind applying whenever the recruitment comes up, but I do want to change my outlook towards the game, haven't really wanted to flame or anything...just came out of me at the time.

No. Unless he used racial slurs, told you to kill yourself, or was an overall asshole calling you thinks like monkey all game, it's not reportable.

And if he did call you a monkey once and want it to be bannable grow some skin m8 xD

nah I was the one who called him a monkey, I wanted to see what someone who was part of riot would say, I got reported because I called a kid a monkey and I find that to be insane lmfao.

it's calling someone an idiot.... that's not going to make me get to mad that I report someone, someone calling me a dumbass, drink bleach or kys then yes lmfao.

It's reportable and punishable. Not Bannable unless the troll came out of a 25-game chat restriction.

This is to you, and I always get flak for this but, jump off the wagon of typing to people in this game. It is pure lunacy how this company conducts their business.

I've said in multiple threads, Riot doesn't want people who have mental illness playing their game. Not that you have any mental illness, just a general statement. I had a friend who had severe depression and played this game every day, a lot, it was his way of cooping with life, he was "toxic" sure, but it was better than him hurting himself, eventually he got perma banned and people made fun of him and put him down a huge spiral of depression. Luckily he was not too bad when it came too because he did have a smurf, but I fear what he would have done if he didn't.

Point is, don't type.

Honestly, reportable and most likely permabannable.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Zero-tolerance behavior like hate speech leads to a 14-day ban unless he came out of one. If that's the case, THEN it's permabannable.

I meant it more along the lines of if he was in a 14 day suspension mode, such as he said that afterwards, that one statement would lead to a permaban. I was exaggerating and not being completely literal.

Yea a few months ago shiphtur said something that honestly really got me thinking. "I could tell this guy to push top then rotate and etc and that would give us the win.. but if he says stfu then there isn't much I can do." And honestly he's right, you could be a challenger telling a bronze player what to do in order to win but if he's too hardheaded to listen then there's no point. I don't really type anymore, in fact I honestly don't really care to type because of what shiphtur said... at the end of the day the only person I can control is myself.
