When does the LeaveBuster finally lower back to 10 or 5 minutes?

I have had the unfortunate luck of having been slapped with a 20 min LeaveBuster because my game failed to connect properly. I understand that it is my computer issue that caused the lack of connection (I play on a Mac that hates new patches) but Riot has said multiple times that there is a point where the penalty will slowly roll back to normal. Does anyone know how long that takes?

I have had 2-3 month windows with no afk or DC issues and yet every time I do have an issue it seems I am always slapped with a 20 min que. Again, i understand the issue is my own computer that started this mess but I would really love to not be constantly thrown in the deep end penalty wise if I actively am trying to fix the problem.

Generally speaking, for the IFS, it takes around 3-5 months of active play without any negative behavior to go down a punishment tier. I would assume this is the same for LeaverBuster - it may track AFK/leaves that aren't punishable, but still are not good behavior, and may impact how long it takes to return to good standing.
