Delete In Game Chat

I just played a game in ranked, where this kid "JG" was upset because someone else told him to not solo baron. They got into a huge fight over it. The guy went AFK, and when he returned he decided to just farm and not help out at all. I think that League should disable in game chat, the community is so negative and once you start fighting you end up losing. You can use pings to say what you need to say anyway. No one ever uses the game chat in a positive way, and I am hoping that this can be banned, taken out however you want to put it. Does anyone else agree?

This idea is so terrible why would anyone come up with this. If it is never used in a positive way then you're doing something wrong. How are we supposed to congratulate good play, or tell them you're splitting and not get caught or wait til you're alive to fight. Or tell them to back. Sometimes missing, careful, target, or on the way aren't good enough to create good play. Those are just basic pings.

Why would you remove chat? League is a team game. Just mute players if they aren't contributing to teamwork.

Riot will never remove a feature from the game just because a jerk decides to abuse it and use it to be a jerk. Instead they'll just simply remove the jerk.
