Game has luck of teammates over skill

Light vent here coming off a severe losing streak. During these games I have had several people run it down mid, give up at 5 minutes, spam ff entire game, flame in chat, and etc. I enjoy this game, but I hate being punished for the teammates I get in solo queue. There truly is an elo hell and I dont care if people think otherwise. People in low elo treat ranked likes its normals. I have had to dodge games for annie adc or pregame lobby people saying they going to int if they dont swap positions. Again, punished for the actions of other people. Take away more LP over something I have no control over. Is there a way to overcome this? I am just getting annoyed as I feel it is getting WAY worse lately. And no, I dont flame back. I stay positive, say things like we got this and etc, but here I am either way.

Sounds like you need to get a team together and play then.... or play champions such as wukong/vayne/garen... someone who is easy to carry with.... on my smurf i was having trouble getting out of silver 1- gold5 (as a plat 1 player) because my team was just not good. not every game is going to be a win. no matter who you are. even faker cant win 100% of the time. but you can try to negate the negative affect of having team mates who are not having a good game. to climb out of silver1-gold5 i played garen top. non stop..... i would win 75% of the time (which is FANTASTIC!!!!!!) and i eventually climbed out. whilst it might not go that fast for you . try playing hard carry champions. when a team mate dies ask what you yourself could have done to prevent that. maybe more map awareness? placing more wards? maybe even a simple ping or two in the area of danger. if after all of that you still lose the game. then that game is simply that... a loss. you move on to the next game with a positive attitude and always try to learn and take something from the experience.

Silver Elo is more about what team has the worst player and not who has the best player.
