Why is this player still playing?

This player told others to kill themselves, and he sexually harassed them. I reported him in-game, and I emailed player support with several screenshots of this. This was a week ago, and he's still playing.

Telling people to kill themselves is pretty straightforward for a report, but sexual harassment is a more grey area. What exactly did they say?

I don't know how you keep this topic appropriate, but I guess you could say he asked about us and he was enjoying himself at the time.

I'd say that falls under sexual harassment then xD

For the original question, it usually takes more than one offense to get banned, however there is a small opportunity that they could get instantly banned if it was REALLY bad.

Riot has a no tolerance policy for people who tell others to commit suicide. I don't see why this is any different. He blatantly said, "end your life."

I'd send a support ticket asking someone to please take a look at (linked game in match history and players name) for (offense). If you ask nicely they will usually take time to help.

Yeah, I did that. I got a cookie cutter response, and he's still playing games.

Not sure you have more options. He's likely to get reported again and banned soon.

Yeah, it looks like this isn't his first account. I am still really unsatisfied with the way this was handled, because I expected to get validation for how I feel. There's a no tolerance policy for this behavior.

I would just move on. There are almost 100 mil players world wide and employees from the behavior team have to deal with 100s of these cases every day, I can understand if they gave a cookie cutter response and have to put the case on backlog.

I'm less angry about the cookie cutter response. I'm more angry about how extreme cases like these are being handled.

It's simple:

Riot is more interested in banning the people that respond to trolls than the actual trolls. You see, there are 9 people who can respond to a troll while there might be only one troll. Banning 9 people = more $ when they get a boost to make a new account than banning 1.
