I cannot deal with janna, lulu, or mf support because most of them are just good for running away, and so i usually tell my support to either pick an engaging support or leave to another lane. am i allowed to do this? 1v2 is suprisingly easier then 2v2 with a support that does nothing but stand behind u and steal your exp, or just messes up on every play.
You obviously haven't had a good support then. I main support, and I play a lot of Janna and Lulu, especially Janna, and I always get compliments from the ADC's I play with, and from the enemy team. I run AD marks for level 1-3 harass, I shield my ADC every time they go in because of the extra AD the shield gives, and between knock ups with the tornado and slows with the w I almost always win lane.
I cant remember the last game where I saw Janna as helpful or important to the game. Most typically it ends with someone playing her that has a higher kill than death count so they think they have done "well".
I don't think you can just change this perception, it falls that way with many champions, most people cant see how weak she is and how little she actually contributes to team fight other than maybe a shield or a heal just to save herself just to run away.
Honestly if I see a teammate try to get her in Aram I just crash the game outright, and if I see her on the opposing team I'm very happy. Havent had her win a game for anyone on the opposite team yet, and you can always count on her to rob the champs that actually needed the cs and kills to be fed.
It is pretty basic stuff but you wont explain it to most of the community, all they see is the kill count, and don't look further into the game. Best answer, crash if you see her.
I think as long as the team agrees, then you are allowed to do anything.
I don't have any quotes by Riot for this subject though.
P.S. Don't hate on Janna. Some people can play her very well. I would play her more often if Riot didn't nerf her so much.
