please improve the report system....

I mean, if someone threatens "mid or feed" when they get support, goes mid anyway, feeds, and then tries to manipulate the enemies into reporting you. that person should be banned right? so why arent they?

i mean i just got out of a game that went a little something like this

(lobby) : give me mid or i feed (autofilled support) (me): no i just gave mid to a one trick akali and she fed hard, just go support. : ok ill just feed xD *prefs zed : dont throw a hissy fit just because you didnt get your role. just pick an easy champ and go support : dont be toxic im reporting you (in game) : goes mid : /all Zed threatened to feed when he got autofilled support and is now going to feed mid. you know what to do : /all AHRI WAS BEING TOXIC TO ME AND IS NOW FLAMING ME GIVING ME DEATH THREATS AND CALLING ME THE N WORD PLEASE REPORT goes bot to try and support our adc at this point is just saying "lol this ahri so mad xsDDD" etc while practically afking in lane /all ok this zed is being a total fucknut will you guys report him? : /all HELP ME IM THE VICTIM HES FLAMING ME SEE HES ALSO HITLER AND IM BEING CYBERBULLIED MOM HELP : * at this point im like 1/5/3 because im forced to be playing fucking support ahri and being camped : /all omg report ahri shes flaming me and look shes feeding i wonder why why is she feeding? pls report : https://68.media.tumblr.com/5c8b1a8a5d51f34adb0abe6057f3abe7/tumblr_nufjh6NxeC1srd53ho1_500.gif zed reports me because hes a fucking paste eating child and 7 of us report him for trolling and stuff i get a chat restrict, he gets nothing http://i.imgur.com/67FPUot.gif

You just declare you are going to your given lane regardless of anything they do, and stop responding to anything they say. They will ban your pick intent, so change it to something you have no intention of playing. They almost always dodge queue, ragequit and force remake, or give in and play their lane once they see you have no intention of moving.

Yes, the mute function, but it doesn't mute people invading your lane, taking your role, feeding, afking after the 3 minute mark, ect ect. It's a time factor. By feeding I mean actually trying to feed though.

Yes, report system is hirribly busted thanks to Riot's "reform" ideas. Sadly, most of those efforts don't affect the rest of us and as such we get the short end.

I have not received chat restrictions, mostly because i DONT ASK FOR REPORTING OTHERS.

Instead I try my best to fill the role no one wants.

So instead of playing the game as much as I use to, because trolls in LoL have so much freaking power, I mostly now play games where the trolls don't have nearly as much power. Yes cheating, flaming, etc still exist in Overwatch, Battlefield, Starcraft (assuming you play with randoms 2v2 or 3v3), Smite (this game trolling is still strong and powerful, but i feel it is not nearly as bad as in LoL where game is totally under their control and held, basically, at gun point by them).

The MOBA genre is the genre or type of game where trolling is so "rewarding" to those that love that feeling of making people angry or power. Like one of my cousins. I have seen his reaction at times, he is not a chronic troll, but boy he does enjoy it as payback mostly. I see no point in it and even I will report his ass in-game and tell him straight up.

The game needs to give us better feedback to let us know that an inting player is being looked into or once punished just tell us "a week ago, you reported a player for intentionally feeding, we have punished this player" (and maybe an apology for taking long XD). Short and simple would be best. No name calling, or anything is needed, just simple message letting us know that something is being done.

And you need to STOP making things worse. DO NOT ASK FOR REPORTS. Simply report the mothaphuka' If there is someone smart on the enemy team, and they are out there, rare to see, the true Supp main or Utility Carry Main that knows that has the personality traits to fill the least liked roles is out there on the enemy team that can ask questions and see patterns to people's behaviour and they will report someone for being a dick (and possibly also report you for asking for reports).

So instead of muting him, reporting him, and moving on, you decided to announce to the world that the obvious troll needed reported and harassed him back? So literally the only thing that changed is that in addition to running it down mid he also got to get a kick out of seeing you get mad? It does not sound to me like your strategy is working very well to create a better gaming environment for yourself.

Btw, it only takes one report on a person to flag a game for review when one is triggered on their account. This means that there is literally no reason to tell people to report somebody, and that is also why report calling is considered harassment.

you never know if the system has punished that zed in the next game. lane stealing without proper consent is 14-day ban as 1st punishment.

The system will only give you a notification when the game you reported them was the game that punished them, and not when it is making a case towards them.

If he does this only during his autofills, then it'll take maybe 50 games (assuming you get autofilled 1 in 10 games) before he gets punished.

Basically, say nothing in champ select, or in game, and if he trolls report him after, riot can't touch you, but they will KNOW the zed is a troll. It will be a lose of lp anyway, but one less (f***nugget) to deal with, (hopefully)
