There's a chat option?

sadly not :(( u still have to fiddle around in the game files to properly turn off chat. the day riot comes up with a simple checkbox to get rid of chat is the day they understood what we wanted...

we got pings and emotes even, nothing left to do in chat but telling everyone how they suck.. chat is obsolete now and just the proper method to piss everyone off.

Seems like this is the only thing left to do.

After reading this board (Player Behavior) I've noticed that the community punishes using the chat and you are discouraged from even using it since saying anything negative (even in a joking context) will net you a chat restriction or ban. The two things you are allowed to say nowadays is "GG WP" and "GL HF".

The community has turned from toxic. To can't even take a joke because jokes are demeaning and offensive (yet still toxic). [zombie-nunu-bummed]
