Just wondering if I deserve the chat-restriction?

Preface - I start every game with hope and to play well until someone else flames the team profusely or my team can't make follow up rotations like supporting me at scuttle as the jungle. I'm not saying that I don't deserve some type of punishment, I flamed back at the people who were flaming me. At the very end - for context - the other reason that I didn't back and defend was because I was pushing nexus towers from top lane while the enemy was pushing in our base. I was somewhat opting into a base race, even if I knew I was going to lose (because one person can't out-push 4-5). I never AFK'd in the game.

Report calling and slight flame. Yeah, chat restriction is usually how it goes after that behavior.

Thanks to all commenters, I agree that I probably do deserve a chat-restriction after seeing what you've highlighted. I have been calling for mass-reports a bit more frequently, and I suppose that means I should withhold my opinions until I submit a report and include those opinions on the ticket.

I'm also going to try hiding my chat box, hoping that maybe if I don't see it, it will keep me from hitting enter to make a comment other than a dragon/baron call. I don't want to get to a point where I get a ban, so I appreciate all the help and support.

Syndra Support, right?

To give you some reason, for future reference, why Syn took Aery instead of comet is that her E actively knocks them out of the comet. Personally in her case, I'd have probably taken Harvest. She would have been stealing some kills from adc with harvest though. But yeah, Aery is actually by far the most consistent thing she could have taken, especially if she was missing her abilities, other than Harvest and playing "Support" (which would have arguably been better anyway)

Did you know, the system treats 1 report the same way as 9 reports?

All a report does is to flag the system to review the game for toxicity. 1 report flags the system once, 9 reports also only flags the system to review it once.

The review will return the same answer regardless how many reports were recieved, and more reports does not accelerate or increase the speed or chances of people getting punished.

Therefore, report rallying is not needed.

Which is also why rallying for reports is considered harassment.

It is purposely programmed that way to prevent premade abuse.

Why does riot make league so stressful to chat in? Every time i type in chat i'm scared i'll get banned, and it shouldn't be this way. Being nice to people... is nice, but having it set that if you aren't a perfect human without emotional flaws is pretty mad. You get annoyed at someone spam pinging you after dying to a gank, like a normal person would, and tell them to screw off? Congrats, you got yourself a ban. It really shouldn't be like this. Yeah bullying, racism and harassment is bad, but telling someone to fuck off shouldn't be bannable, especially if that person if inting. Come on riot, we're only human.

I stopped reading after 20% of chat when you said w\e get me out. You gave up which is negative and reportable. Whatever it happens just mute all from now on and do your best. We all get this way from time to time. Good luck to you bud.

Two reasons you got it:

  • Report rallying is against their code, and they've been especially keen on showing people that lately.

  • You're the jungler, so obviously your team is going to all flame you, but the issue is that the logs confirm you flamed pretty much 4/4 of them back (while giving credit to Braum, though you still asked for his report) and it makes you look like the bad guy.

Gotta use that /mute all, my guy.

That is why the punishment is deserved, because riot punishes people for flaming their teammates. You were making accusations to other players and report begging to harass them. Also threatening to tilt if others didn't surrender.
