how can I not be toxic when someone is feeding on purpose

slarias·11/25/2015, 9:46:46 PM·3 votes·793 views

Like I'm really sorry. I was last pick and they made me support. Thats fine I don't mind supporting, except my adc who first picked adc, says she doesn't know how to adc. And starts to go ham and dies 6 times in 10 minutes. I start to rage a bit, I know I shouldn't do that, but I did because im sorry shes feeding on purpose. she must be. they say shes just having a bad game, but she first picked adc in ranked and says she doesn't know how to play adc... Regardless i got a 25 game chat ban...

Here's a comprehensive guide on how not to be toxic in chat regardless of circumstances: Don't type in the chat.

I know it can be hard to resist, but nothing good comes out of stoking that kind of fire. You're better off just keeping away from the enter key and not putting your account at risk.

People here talking so much, when the post is "how can I not be toxic when someone is feeding on purpose". IDK how, because i get crazy too when the feeder say in the lobby "i did lolking you, aww you in promos, someone f.. my promo, then ill f.. yours". You cant dodge, because its your promo. Then you get 15 chat restrictions or more.

Focus on your own lane and what you can do rather than what the troll is doing. All you can really do is contribute to her getting punished by reporting her.

Though, your title says she's feeding on purpose, but the rest says she didn't know how to play ADC. Maybe everyone called the other lanes and she was trying to be nice by taking the last open role? Clearly didn't work out for the better, but that's not something to report over. Even if they know the role well sometimes you can do really bad (my worst game was 1/11/3, it was horrible and I was on my main. just tilted and against a superior team).

That aside, if you got a 25 game restriction that means you already had 10. You should dedicate yourself to keeping it cool so it doesn't happen again; the next punishment is a 14 day account ban, followed by a permaban for the next one.

Assuming this is the game u were talking about?

First of all, your adc gave_** 4 kills, not 6**_, for the first 10 minutes. You must have been toxic as hell to have 30 more CS than your ADC as a support (How?) Your adc actually plays quite a bit of adc in season 5 if u ever bothered to check.

How can u expect an adc to perform if u have 100+ cs as a support?

THEN, let's look at the map where your adc died. 5 deaths near your bot lane area and 2 of them were under tower while the other 3 is in YOUR HALF of the lane. Going HAM?!?

Then from your income graph, it really REALLY looks like you were splitting farm with your ADC from probably 3 or 4 minutes into the game....

Unless someone literally says "I'm feeding" I presume they either:

A) suck B) are having a bad game

Either way, they don't need me to type anything. I'm sure they're more irritated with their own performance than I am.

I also try to give everyone benefit if the doubt as we all communicate differently. When someone says they don't adc, chances are they do... Just not well and they're not comfortable with it. Maybe she felt it was time to try in ranked as adc.. And found she's not ready.

By realizing how useless it is to rage at them. Ruining your game is their goal, they aren't going to stop because you let them know they succeeded.

That said, what you described doesn't even sound like intentional feeding. It sounds like someone was playing aggressive(maybe overly so) and failing.

My thoughts? Probably trying to undo her mistake. Some people can, some can't. My buddy plays support thresh. He was on painkillers and fell asleep at the load screen and joined 8 minutes late. He felt so bad he put his all into it and carried the game as thresh with 26 kills. That's unusual for him, but stress motivates him in positive ways. Your ADC, perhaps not so much.

Again just my view. YMMV

{quoted}

then why when my first words were, hey don't go ham, try playing back and csing and then goes ham 3 times mores really quickly... I didn't start raging until she was 0-4

Then please don't rage I understand your issue because it happened to me, I told my bot Lane players after forcing me into an Support role like 4 or so times myself that I was playing defense, and all they did was run in and auto attack all the creeps, as a result I fed hard but I didn't rage in chat myself I just muted everyone and did my best myself but still got banned because I had to eventually push out or lose a lot of levels and I feed as a result.

This is a problem I have playing a bot lane role, as either a ADC or Support players who have no idea what to do or listen and I do god awful myself not Intentionally because I would rather win, but its the way players play sometimes for some players its easy for them to cater to a player who doesn't listen but with me its not, even though I don't flame I can still do bad.

In my opinion Riot should actually Investigate players who do this type of behavior in games, instead of just punishing someone for Intentionally Feeding, when there is bad play because if Riot took a look at Intentional Feeding games I played and looked at the behavior of others perhaps they would Understand why I did so bad I will leave the examples below of such behavior.

1.) For example, when a player says to play defensive at champion selection, or in game, and a player refuses to do it, it should be a report worthy offense and punish worthy too, or in the very least a player who does badly because an ADC, or Support refuses to listen should not be perm-banned from the game.

2.) Like wise Players who go AFK after locking a role without letting players know they are going Top Lane should be punish worthy, Riot blamed one of these games on me because a player did this and I had no idea he was going Top, I asked and waited until last second before locking Top to play around our yasuo then he admits to going afk comes back, and tells me he is top, so now to respect pick order I have to go Oriana Jungle, or be toxic, I muted everyone just to avoid the toxicity I was likely going to get.

3.) Like honestly Riot should take more into account than just "Intentional Feeding" as they describe but understand why some players do badly at least with this current season, However as a player you should never rage in chat even if a person doesn't listen or intentional feed it doesn't make it right to do such just gets you into trouble as well.

Then why are you supporting and wasting time on your adc

You should just roam instead so at least another lane will have a chance to carry

Palmeiras SerieB11/26/2015, 3:06:47 AM1 votes

It is ONLY ONE MATCH

Why would you fall into a ragebait and ruin your account because of ONE MATCH?

1st Movement11/26/2015, 4:34:08 AM1 votes

oh I would just say bye to my adc and run around every lane and try to snowball them and it worked like a charm in silver Elo since no one could adc

Every one on my team thanked me and honoured me. Except my adc who refused to believe he was mechincally bad to play adc in the first place lol

Leo and ali or blitz are the best in roaming just gankem like how a normal jungle would and its gg freelo

Randomonium11/26/2015, 6:44:29 PM1 votes

Being toxic to someone who is playing bad or intentionally feeding is like trying to convince a KKK member that racism is wrong. What really do you think you are going to accomplish? You're just wasting your time so there's no point in doing it.

Ada Wong11/25/2015, 9:56:38 PM1 votes

I know the feeling, the best thing you can do is not rage in chat, Like I understand some players are Intentional Feeders, but not everyone is, and even if they were the only thing you can do is play defense on the turret with the ADC, and be quiet don't do harassment or threaten reports, this is similar to why I am currently permanently banned myself I told my ADC who kept going HAM, pushing out auto attacking all the creeps to play defense on the turret, they refused as a result I ended up feeding and doing bad in quite a few games with forced bot roles, but Didn't Intentionally Feed as Riot claims, and would like the chance to prove this but my statistics should show clearly to Riot that when I play solo roles I do better.

The only thing I can really suggest is if you feel the player is Intentionally feeding, report them, but don't threaten or tell anyone else in chat to report them or they can turn around and report you for "Verbal Abuse" instead ask in champion select if you think they are bad or in game to play defense on the turret and if they don't then report them only thing you can do to prevent getting chat banned.

You can also use the In game mute function Tab + Mute all players or just specific players as a long time League player to keep from raging I do this the first sight players are going to argue I don't care what its about, and I go about my game.

Also I agree with focus on your own play, however this can be hard as a player when you are in a duo lane with someone who doesn't listen, and this is why I am better off playing defense a lot of the times in Bronze than Offense it works a lot better sometimes.

EvilDustMan11/25/2015, 9:57:09 PM1 votes

That does suck. But being toxic isn't going to help the situation. Reporting them goes far more towards getting them a 14 day ban for their problems while getting angry and verbally abusing them will just make things worse.
