This is a normal game. During normal games, I like to play out of the meta and have fun, so I played Katarina support. I got harassed by my team, three of my teammates ended up going AFK. I wasn't AFK, intentionally feeding, or toxic to any of my teammates in this game whatsoever. I had fun while the game lasted, but I'm annoyed that people get so salty about out of meta picks. Does the community just expect me to be a robot and play and every game and have it be boring?

Why can't you just go mid if you want to play kat? People are still trying to win while having fun in normals. Kat is clearly not a support.

Sometimes when I get "bot" in Ranked, I'll go AP Veigar, and then people will freak out, harass/report me, and leave too.. If I was supposed to pick an ADC, the position would be called "ADC" and Mordekaiser bot wouldn't exist. Some people are too autistic to handle change, and any deviation from the meta causes them to go into seizures or something.

Seeing as she is gear intensive and has no way to help the ADC secure kills. However, you did at least Ward.

So you trolled your teammates and are upset that they didn't take it completely in stride?

Normals are not to be taken 100% seriously, sure, but that doesn't mean the other extreme is true.

Here is my advice.

Since they took away TeamBuilder the only place you have to do this is in normals. I have not played many times as Kat support but every time I have our team won. (3-5games perhaps)

Now this is not about the legitimacy of using Kat as a support as I feel the most you get out of it is the shock and awe factor which does,t last long.

No this is about you using an off meta pick for the purpose of experimentation.

Its not reportable.
Those who went AFK ARE reportable.
Don't say anything, just continue to play out the game without complaint and then TAKE the TIME to report ALL who went afk after the match.
