Would it be too much to have player mods ingame?

Like we've all had those toxic players that are using a constant barrage of "U suck, uninstall loser" and then you think "eh whatever I'll report you, you'll get banned, and we'll move on."

So you report them.....and wait....and wait.....and wait. Nothing happens. Ok maybe it'll take a day or 2. A week later you check and that toxic guy is still playing games and/or feeding/trolling etc.

Now I know Riot can't do everything which is why I thought of what if they just appoint PURELY GOOD PLAYERS to be mods ingame? Like they could have the power to actually chat restrict and 2 week ban players. But they wouldn't be able to permaban tho. Seeing as our system already does that and quite often judging by the boards I don't think that much is necessary. This way I think we could drastically reduce the amount of toxic people and trollers. All of a sudden everyone would be like "That player could be a mod....dare I troll?" and then if they do see one boom 2 week ban.

However there would have to be requirements. -Had to have been a player of league of legends for a year (or 2 or more). -Had to have minimal reports made against you and 80% of those that were were false -If a rioter were to show the mods chat logs, they wouldn't be toxic at all really. (maybe more if necessary)

The requirements would keep trolls and toxic people out and if enough people became mods, how low would the toxicity level run? Because on the internet, League of Legends is seen as one of the most toxic games out there (besides DotA and Smite) and the players know it. I want this level to run super low and see League of Legends as a super friendly community so I can say to my friends "Hey, wanna join league?" and the response will be "Sure lets play" instead of "Hell naw I ain't playing that toxic crap".

Yes? Do you have any idea how many matches are played each day?

This would be a logistics nightmare.

The thing is you dont really know the person on the other side of the screen. The player could have been playing since Beta, but they still might not understand. This is why it should be done from where ever Riot HQ is located. having random people basically play god is just giving them too much power!

Yes! Incredibly too much to ask.

most toxic games out there

Every game is "toxic". This so called "toxic" behavior is just people being people in an electronic game. You ever play other online games?

You get shot on sight because they want your can of beans.
