Especially watch out for the level 1 bot accounts that spam friend requests to everyone and link you to a "Riot Points Generator".

I have gotten a random friend request from a level 1 account almost every day the past couple weeks and it is the same thing every time so I just block them all now.

Anything that says "Free" on it should be an immediate red flag, so be careful everybody!

I have seen this website called christmas.riotpromotions.com, and I have a feeling that it is a scam, I'd like to bring this to your attention riot.

Congrats you've gotten enough clicks to win an rp card! Now please fill in all your League credentials.

Guys gifting RP doesn't require anything more then your summoner name and region. Keep that in mind. For those who don't know a phising scam is when a website is designed to resemble another website to prompt you into logging in after which it will steal all your credentials. If a website asks you to login CHECK THE URL.

I'd much rather have it posted on the front page on EVERY region, so there can be no mistake.

Most scams sound too good to be true. It kills me that some players can't even see through that. Hopefully everybody who has made a mistake though, will promptly recover their accounts.

I've been having random people try to add me to spam links for 'free rp.' Is there a way to block or report them without adding to a friends list?

I received a link from a friend about a Christmas giveaway in which you get a point for each time a link is clicked. Any news about this? I can't find it anywhere on the main page but I may just be looking in the wrong place.

OK, I received a link from multiple friends of whom I would put my life with. The site did not require any log-in info it just has a "give-away" system where when someone clicks the link you provide you get a point, then you can redeem those points for a $10, $25, or $50 Riot point card. How wary should I be of this site.
