Why are we not doing this.... I understand you need to carry games if you want to progress but I don't feel it's really legitimate to punish so much MMR for a loss in which there was literally nothing you could do. It would be nice if there was a system that took into account how you statistically matched up in your play of a champion vs. the rest of your similar MMR, and if you performed exponentially better than others on a consistent basis punish you for less MMR per loss.

This score is with me having probably the worst team I've had in my entire life, and me suiciding on at least 2 occasions to stop our nexus turrets from falling (successfully saving the game on both occasions.)

Sadly my team couldn't even grasp basic concepts. I was only gold lead that actually mattered as YI constantly slammed into 1 v 5's end game. My ADC and Mid constantly walked around alone n got TF ulted and killed every damn time. I attempted to roam with pack but when I did one would split off run away and die. I decided to split which went wonderfully, and then I'd look down & yi would be mid 1 v 3 support would be farming jungle and the adc or mid would be down bot seconds from a swift TF death hahah

they wont do this because it would lead to people focusing less on winning and more on personal stats. its not healthy for the game environment.

dude don't put this here. the struggle is not something most of the people on the boards will even understand. Now to your question you think people focus on their kda now . Imagine if they made it where that dictated where you was placed and your rank ....

Not dictate placement of rank & not just KDA, I'm talking farm, gold % compared to team, damage dealt, etc. and not that you get placed higher you just lose less LP when you do lose
