Does league have the worst moderation of any game you've played?

I constantly have people in my games making threats against both my life & others IRL. I report them after game every time & yet nothing ever happens. I understand it's a big job to moderate that but you would think when the biggest issue most people have is with out community riot would put a little more effort into it. Honestly speaking whenever you ask any1 why they left league 99% of the time the answer is the community.

If this is the worst experience you've had, you've been very lucky.

As long as they don't use hate speech they will go through a long list of warnings and chat restrictions before a real punishment. The worst moderation i've seen was in a game called Tibia, where my friends friend got banned and when he complaint about it they changed his ban into an account deletion just to spite him LMAO so leagues moderation is shit, but it could always be worst

In complete honestly I know I've been that asshole that rages in games before, and truthfully I really do believe there are times where it would have helped the community if I had been more seriously punished. Like I've literally had like no moderation except chat board bans & I know for a fact I've warranted more than that.

Yep.

Riot just has to realize that chat has no purpose other than to:

  1. Flame

  2. Self-suck when you do good

  3. Gather reports

If Rito got rid of chat and instead improved pings, there would be 95% less reports, 95% less bans and a more positive experience for everyone. You will never get rid of flaming in a system where you get stuck in a game you don't want to be in with people you don't want to play with. It is a losing battle now for 7 season.

How big of a staff would they need to hire the millions of games played every single game and review the entire chat log in every single one of those games? Of course somethings are going to be automated and yes it will take more than one offense for the person to get punished so to avoid punishing innocents.

A lot of other games I've played use voice chat, so that's harder to monitor. At the same time league doesn't ban people for calling you the n word multiple times in offensive context as well as harassing the entire game. If you want a nicer community, try playing 3 v 3. The toxicity level by experience is about 1/4 of what it is in 5 v 5.

But yes, league definitely has the worst community I've ever played with and I believe that is from poor moderation.
