so with the coming lore update it leaves alot of unanswered questions about certain champs. and the overall point of the league.

so basically saying summoners and the institute isn't there completely deletes the purpose of champs like- and baron who was made by the league if memory serves

because they no longer have a need to fight

but helps like close to every other champion to a degree because it gives them a reason to fight

i cant say much until we get more info but with this take on the lore it leaves no point to the champs that went to the league for answers and also defeats the purpose of Summoner's Rift might as well name it something completely else for the new SR. the entire purpose of the map is irrelevant

i'm happy to have an update on the lore but this update left so many open holes that can't probably be fixed for quite sometime and leaves us more confused than ever

This is Universe Reset, we can't get the whole story yet, but we can't judge something that isn't even out. I'm hurt by this a bit; but no pain, no gain. The institute and summoners were too constricting, which I understand as a writer, once you've buggered your world with a major concept you have to gut the problem, which sadly is the story.

(Lore Bonus: The Baron on the current rift is a recreation of the real baron)

I know they want to keep everything a surprise until it is released but honestly they need to answer some of the major plot holes.

Without the Institute what is keeping Demacia and Noxus from fighting to the death? Why are certain champions who are here from other worlds still here? What will happen to champions who only joined the League in exchange for help? Did the Runewars still happen, and if so what is keeping the world from falling apart?

It's unanswered questions like these that make people worried that this new direction will not get rid of the old to make way for the new, but remove what was good and replace it with something no one wanted. I understand answering all of these questions in one go would spoil possibly years worth of well written lore content but with a change this large something has to give.
