Lack of Splash Teasers

It may just be me, but i feel as if Riot has been slacking off in releasing splash arts with subtle teasers in them. I miss the fun of finding something interesting in the background of every splash and theorizing about it with my fellow summoners in the forums. The magic is gone my friends.
