So I finally decided to play some ranked in the wonderful world of Bronze (Oh Boy!). I was just browsing the boards when the screen pops up saying it's my turn to pick. Normally, I would pick mid since it was still open, but something caught my eye. I scrolled up in the chat and this is what I saw.. (Only putting the important details in here, other stuff was said)

Summoner 1: Bans Summoner 3: Dont ban tryndamere Summoner 5: Mid Summoner 4: I can go anywhere Summoner 1: Proceeds to ban Tryndamere Summoner 3: What the fk u idiot. Asre you stupid? Summoner 4: It's ok, just pick another champ Summoner 3: Ok fine but this bitch better not take top Summoner 1: Takes Volibear Top Summoner 3: Omg noob kys. Ill go mid Summoner 5: What the fk im going akali mid Summoner 3: Locks in ahri Summoner 5: Omg Wtf you fking idiot Summoner 4: Calm down I'll go support you can go adc Summoner 5: No I'm playing Akali jungle fk this (I had already locked in Diana jungle) Summoner 5: Fk it, Im going akali support this is troll anyways Summoner 1: Wow you must be fking awful if you can only play akali. I bet your elo is bronze V Summoner 5: WTF is elo Summoner 3: Omg you noob you dont what elo is LOL Summoner 2 (me): What's going on? Just /mute all when we get in the game pls Summoner 4: Yeah Summoner 3: Omg stfu youre playing Diana jungle. Time Runs Out I dont know what happened in the game chat, but they might have worked things out since ahri went support and akali went mid. Regardless, we won the game because akali went 15/3/8, but I was certain this was a gg wp ever since the beginning, at least in sportsmanship.

EDIT: And no, it doesn't matter if we won or not. I would happily lose 19 LP if it was worth having a good time with my teammates.

You don't have any idea what's happening, yet you remember every detail of it. I have a feeling you said more then what you wrote.

I agree completely. I'd rather lose than win with a toxic team (though, if I have a toxic team, I lose over 90% of the time.) The only real difference between bronze and silver is that in silver, the players know the lingo and THINK they know the game.

I did have a game where I jokingly said "don't ban Soraka" (She's generally considered underpowered, and I main her) and leader banned her first. That's the kind of stuff where you wonder if losing is their goal.

Though I would like to win, I agree that it's better to have a good time with your teammates even if you lose than winning/losing with 1 or 2 toxic players or players who don't shut up and don't care what everyone else thinks.
