KDAS... Kills / Deaths / Assists / Saves!!?

I thought it would be interesting if players received a number representing the times they saved an ally from death. This would obviously be harder to implement but I simply do not see a down side. It would encourage team play more while helping supports feel more like Carries. Plus, it truly is equally as important to live as it is to kill, maybe more so.

Is it a good idea? Is it practical to implement? Would gold be earned? (how much?) Could you get "double/triple saves"? Would it dramatically change the game?

your thoughts...

It idealistically would be really cool I just dont see how a system could possibly track it.

Saves are too hard to program imo. Too many scenarios to consider and factors that could affect it. Also, how would that change anything for the gameplay?

Probably would be impossible to track in game with infinite variety of ways you can save someone. Also to a large degree saving is subjective, while k/d/a are all objective. But I totally agree saving teammates is a big deal.

Given the programming that they are already doing and what they have accomplished so far, I wouldn't actually say its impossible to implement for RIOT. I think they could do it they wanted to but it would require a large leap of time and energy for something that may not give enough results. Realistically they wont do it but I still think they should consider the benefits.

KASD is better, it shows that more matters than just kills.

Otherwise people usually just overlook assists like they already do.

What do we think about making saves more like assists if the ally lived and you had anything to do with it then you get a save or assisted save?
