Missed the Poro King AMA, overlooked question here

Checking the progress website, if you scroll all the way down to the bottom you'll find a very peculiar image. In it you see poros with a look of sadness or even fear in their eyes as the shadow of -something- is cast down on them. It looks like the shadow of the poro king, given the shape of his crown. On top of all this, the pendant on the ground is a picture of him. The saddest thing about this picture is the third poro to the left in the middle who actually appears to be crying.

Is the poro-king evil? Why are these poros so sad and why is nobody addressing this if we all seem to love and adore poros?

Edit: Also in the necklace/medallion the poro king looks extremely angry.
