Why did they split zelda and shiek, she was my favorite character.. also lore wise thats fucking awkward.

Anyway... I main and play shiek i love her :D

I played a lot of link and samus and mario and fox and bowser in melee (gamecube one) Haven't played since gamecube smash cause didnt want to waste money... not online anyway still had system for it just never online...anyway...

Its fun! Its laggy as fuck though Who's the r%%%%% who made it so I couldn't plug an ethernet cable into my wii?????? Thats like 60-85% slower connection than a cable connection! what moron! Means I get people with shit quality internet and then get bad experience. I just suicide in 1v1's if they're lagging, it ruins my winrate but idc. I found some good quality matches and then we played multiple games together and no lag was had and it was fucking amazing. Really fun.

Some of the chars seem op compared to others now though. Mr game and watch is like super OP now it seems or he's just better than I remember.

I was playing against a max difficulty AI one time and then A player and the ai just shit all on my face and I barely beat the player lol

Smash for Wii U is a really good game. I personally only own Smash for 3DS, but have frequently played the Wii U version with friends, and both are mechanically identical games anyways.

I think the reason that Shiek and Zelda were split might have been technical limitations of the 3DS or the Wii U (ie. 8 player Shiek/Zelda FFA's all switching). Alternatively, it might have been to make them stronger individually. Transform was generally a bad option in Melee and Brawl, as Shiek was significantly better than Zelda in both games (shiek top tier in Melee, Zelda was bottom tier in Brawl), and in both games the only reason you used down B was to recover as Shiek with Zelda's better recovery. Now that Shiek lost that weakness with Bouncing Fish and the new ledge mechanics, there's no reason to transform.

Game and Watch also isn't really that great in Smash 4. He's super light, and therefore dies really easily, while he also lacks an approach option, so he has a hard time doing much.
