Why does Zilean hate Vel'Koz ? @RIOT or smart people

He never did anything bad to Zilean, merely admired his citadel/tower when he was away.He should be his friend - Id like to see that (Void ZIlean)Zilean Velkoz

Vel'Koz considers Zilean to be the only one with more knowledge than him, as Zilean can see not only the current world but the past and future world as well. Because of this Vel'Koz wishes to disintegrate him to consume all of his knowledge.

I couldn't find any more descriptive (official lore) about how Vel'Koz knew about Zilean.. he knows about his tower not him though. Also in Kog'Maw's lore there is a quote about Tryndamere saying If that's hungry i don't wanna see angry Kog'maw killed nomads/barbarians/any fauna yet he isnt rivaled with tryndamere?

Vel'Koz gains knowledge from everything he disintegrates. So when he disintegrated Zilean's library, he learned everything written about Zilean. He knows who he is.
