The incredibly rare gentleman troll

Well I was just in a game where this person auto-locked nidalee for top (I was first pick) aftyer I already had warwick top. Not only was I first pick I called it. By every right I deserved that lane right?

Well I knew he wasn't going to leave top, and he was just so... polite about forcing me out of top that I took jungle peacefully. Still mad though. Later on he actually did good top (I would have done good too top is my best lane and I was owning jungle.) So I was a lot less mad but still kinda pissed that he stole my top.

In short he was just so polite the whole game and actually was good at top that instead of either of us raging at each other or me reporting him at the end of the match we honored each other and are now summoner friends.

Anyone else had an experience like this?

I don't mean instalock. i mean locked in as top nidalee after I already locked in.

I've had a few encounters of this nature.

Around the end of Season 3 I was doing a ranked for once (I hardly do ranked matches). I was first pick in Bronze 1 and I decided to Jungle this particular game. So it was my time to pick the champion I wanted to play and this nice person decided that instead of me Jungling, He would do it for me as Teemo.

Like any person, I was quite upset that I didn't get my preferred role and I said some bad words. Nothing bad, Just "Butthole" and "Doody Head" to put it nicely. In the end I ended up Supporting and we won the game with him dominating the enemy Jungler.

He wasn't even a rude player, He was quite respectful and apologetic about the whole situation.

I've had games like that over the years, but I wouldn't consider that Nidalee a troll. To me, a troll is someone who tries to make you mad on purpose. :p Good on you for being nice back though.
