The reason I hate and love nerfs

Now I know that when you see a champion you love getting a nerf makes your wanna cry and seeing a champion you hate to get a nerf make you wanna jump for joy, but the reason I hate and love nerfs is different.

The thing I like about league is how many champions you can choose to play as. Anytime I see one of the champs I like to get nerfed, it gives me a reason to pick up a new one. This is really the only reason I like nerfs, mostly because the game changes with every nerf that hits the riff. Play changes, champ choice changes, and the direction of the game changes.

Going off that, the reason I hate nerfs is when you see great champions get nerfed to oblivion, but see champs that are constantly complained about, never getting a nerf. The champ either gets nerfed because LOL wants to make sure there is a not an "OP" champ for pro games, or they feel a person is overused/high win rate. I know it's only a matter of time before my beloved Yorick is nerfed (since they already hit Garen pretty big with nerfs, make sense they go after another champion I like) so it got me thinking. I mean remember Azir? Remeber Kalista? how bout that juggernaut patch that was basically reverted?

Now I'm not saying the balance team does not know what they are doing (though I'm sure everyone is gonna comment and say they have no clue), but I'm just saying, what gives?
