Many Platinum players I have played with have called me "shit" for playing Miss fortune or Ashe and saying that I lost the game by picking those champions IN A NORMAL!. No matter who you play there will be better champions but why do they so often think that ADC's that aren't are all non viable? I was 4/5 Miss Fortune and he was calling me "bronze trash" whilst we had a 0/8 Vlad vs a Nasus....

I think this is what happens when people think they're too good and know to much, it's just depressing when people think they're good. They really never learn with that mindset.

Since I hit Plat the other day I get bitched at if the enemy Jungler gets a lead when I am Malphite. When I was Gold no one bat an eye at my Malphite picks.

Pantheon gets 3 or so good ganks off while I just hit 6 and only have a dragon. I had a teammate ask to trade junglers at that point. Doesn't matter that I ended up something like 2-3-24, stole baron and set up EVERY teamfight with my ult. Nope. Malphite isn't a typical pick so clearly he is bad. Must be why I have a 77% winrate with him and his average winrate is 51%.

He isn't Vi, Jarvan or Lee so he MUST be bad.

Yup, you're getting reported for being too rock solid (jk). I hate that people enforce the "meta" so heavily on others. I play Shaco more than any other champ and sometimes I ask people if they are okay with me playing him. Sometimes I just want to save myself the pain of having my team bash on me for one failed Shaco gank or dying during a split-push even though I've gotten the 3 towers that were down on my own and solo'd dragon twice :/

All those season 4 younglings do not know that Zyra was designed as a mid and is still a very decent mid-laner if played correctly!

If a person insults your champion selection just pick a champion that is actually bad at the role (adc teemo). Both choices will recieve the same amount of hate and they will probably force a loss anyway due to how mad they get over you going "off-meta"

I'd rather not lose on purpose because someone if flaming at me for something I picked. I'm not going to not play my champion just because of what someone says. As long I am not doing it to win then I play whatever I want in normals

From my experience 99% of the time if someone has a problem with the champion I pick, that same person will try to lose the game or just be a dick to me as much as possible.

I don't mean they just do badly in lane when I say bad, I mean that the person will do things like dive the entire enemy team, try and steal cs even if they are supposed to be in another lane, or just spend more time typing how my pick lost the game instead of actually playing.

I get sick of it, and even if I did well, that person will still bring up everything he can to try and say that I almost lost the game for them because of champion choice.
