Why does Darius pull have more range than it is supposed to have?
Every time I play against a Darius I get like 10ft from the end of the axe and I still get pulled. Why?

yeah, i agree. They could scale back that range just a slight bit.
It's irritating as hell when hitboxes don't match up with the animation cough morg cough
And then you play Darius and the pull misses people that are clearly in its range.
I swear, that's how it always is.
I think this is what it is:
If you watch this video and go to the settings and set it to the lowest play speed possible, you will notice when darius grabs someone his axe will pass by them but will not apply anything until the axe reached his body, BUT everyone who was in range will be grabbed no matter where they go after that point.
This means if you get "grabbed" at max range it will appear that nothing happened (until the delay ends) and then it will suddenly pull you towards him after that short delay even if you ran outside of the range during that time delay. So it then appears that the d-man grabbed you from noticably farther than the cast range of the spell if you were in range of the initial spell cast but walked out of it during the time delay.
tl;dr: his grab itself has a short delay from the initial cast time but everyone within the range will be pulled if they were there during the initial cast time even if they walked out during the delay, making it look like it has a longer range than it does.
I hope that somewhat explains it
