Does Tencent actually do anything?

Legitimate question, I see so many posts claiming that Tencent is destroying league, but from what I can tell they just seem to be a stockholder. Does Tencent actually have an active role in League? If so what?

Nope, not really. I'm no expert but as far as I can tell anybody claiming otherwise has done nothing valid to back up those statements, so...
