Hi, I'm a silver jungler trying to move up in ranks and I've been having an issue pop up in a few of my games recently where I'll be doing good (sometimes the only carry on my team) but not just one person but the entire enemy team will constantly roam in my jungle preventing me from farming in the early to mid game. What could I do in this situation so I can still help my team?
Pandemic Punch1 votesWhile they are sitting in your jungle and getting nothing done on the map, push a side lane really hard and make them react to you. Then once you see all of the enemies missing or a few enemies headed your way, you can decide if you want to try to destroy a turret or recall as soon as possible.
The main condition with that strategy though is that you need a strong wave clear champion who can also deal decent damage to turrets.
Crossarms1 votesI thought that would be the best decision as well but in the last game it happened I was playing master yi and I didn't feel as though I could take a turrent for how behind I was and it was super early in the game i dont think it was even the 12 min mark yet. Should I still have pushed anyways? I lost the game going like 22/14/?.
Pandemic Punch1 votesIf it is that early in the game and your team is not helping you or they are not able to help you, then you need to go to the jungle on the other side to farm or fast push a lane. That lane could be mid or the side lane on the opposite side of where the enemy team is.
Usually when the enemy team is able to freely roam your jungle is when they have already destroyed a few of your turrets though. If that is the case then there is no strategy that can 100% make you come back from that without a coordinated team. You just need to do whatever it takes to make yourself strong (farming jungle while making sure turrets are defended), defend your lanes as best as possible, and hope they enemy makes a mistake or positional error.
