Secret Santa Gifting

Dear Riot,

In the spirit of charity and giving could you make Secret Santa gifting available this coming December? I imagine it wouldn't take a whole lot of programming to do this and I think it would be pretty awesome.

The idea is you purchase a gift (same price as the mystery gifting now or less), and it will choose a random summoner and a random skin and gift it with a message but not reveal who it was that gave it. I'm not talking about a person on your friends list - a totally random stranger.

I think it would be a cool idea and I personally would do it a few times to spread the Summoner cheer this year.

I feel like to make this more cost-effective for people to actually do it you would have to confine it to friends list. I really like the idea though! Make it so each Summoner can only receive 1 Secret Santa gift for the entire system! So, groups of real friends and summoners who have friend lists that are occupied by a large number of common accounts would be able to spread holiday cheer through the Rift! Limiting the receiving to 1 gift ensures this couldn't be exploited by two individuals exploiting the gifting by limiting their friends list to only a small number!

This is a great idea. My question to Riot though will be: what skins will be in the pool of giftable skins?

Is it going to be another mystery gift?

To expand upon the idea of "Secret Santa Gifting"

People gift whoever they choose a selected skin / random skin (depends tbh) Recipient cannot open the gift until Christmas Eve

(Just something I wanted to put out there)

I feel like the idea is good but, what about all the inactive profiles? You wouldn't want your Secret Santa Gift to go to an inactive player. Maybe have a 'filter' to make sure none of the inactive people get anything? Like, only players with recent activity are eligible. I like the idea though! Tryndamere

Huh. Opt in by buying a "secret santa gift". After the end of the event, all people who opted in get a random gift payed for by someone else. (though it kinda defeats the purpose, since you have to pay for someone else's gift, so you're technically paying to get a random gift yourself :x).

I'm torn between it being a random or fixed gift. But I know that if they made it a fixed gift the buyer gets to pick, 90% of them would be teemo and his skins because people are evil.

What about if you can buy someone a gift before christmas then when christmas comes it pops up as soon as they log in. like opening gifts :) id think it would be a really nice surprise but i mean no idea is perfect
