I know this just popped up on the PBE and may not be the polished version but something about it looks strange to me.
Her face sort of looks like Marilyn Manson - not a strong but beautiful female - and the pose makes her look sort of like a bird.
Something just doesn't feel right and I can't place it 100%. Anyone else agree?
I guess I was expecting something like Tira from Soul Caliber or this dude
Story behind Sivir's splash:
Sivir "Tripped" and then broke her foot. After the tension from the fall, her leg was deformed and when she stood up, she fell again, and Riot took a picture when that happened. Also, her teeth were all pulled out and only the front teeth were left, thus leaving her as a beaver.
No offense to the artist but the anatomy is way off. The pose looks unrealistic and disturbing to look at. The overall character look like a mess under than sunlight, you can't really clearly see what's where because it's a little bit dark plus there are no 'pop' element of anything. The lighting highlights her left leg the most out of all things, and it looks very painful.
I love the color and the background details but honestly, this makes me want artists like Knockmaw back to Riot because this is horrible compared to the old splash arts. Sure the person has put more work into the color and lighting, but the overall 'league' feel of the splashes nowadays are just completely lost.
It feels like a different game now with all these art updates.

I feel like im the only person who thinks the splash art is fine... The only "odd" thing about it in my opinion is her foot. Its shaped a little weird but everything else about the splash art looks great!
I don't think it looks that bad. It's sort of an odd pose for her, yes, and it doesn't really exemplify the blade as much as Riot made it sound like Sivir was to be "all about her blade," but the new image vs the old one is night-and-day better.
I really like the desert theme and the sun behind her. However, sorry but the art just looks completely unnatural and unworkable. Her legs looks like toothpicks. I understand you are attempting to foreshorten them to show depth, but they are so out of proportion with her body as to make her look freakish. Her forward hand has the opposite problem; it is huge and could only get like that due to a very short focal length camera lens, of the type a photographer would never use on a human unless trying to make them look wrong. Additionally she is bent over too far to stay upright with her legs spread like that, never mind use her weapon. In fact, if she tried to throw it, she would either completely fall over backward, run it into the ground, or have to perform a very bizarre spin.
Her face looks odd.

It's the pose. The theme is good and consistent, but Sivir herself just looks absolutely ridiculous.
It kinda looks like she has buck teeth. I think if they just make her less skinny, have her in a different pose, and if they touch up her face a little, it won't look as weird
I posted a few non-sivir examples of the sort of thing I'd expect from this splash as well as the Chinese Sivir art to show a few things that look more natural.

could be the jaw? i would expect sivir to have a more striking chin/bone structure to her face. and at the angle presented, her chin is not nearly as square/striking as the live one
Touch up her face or something. She looks really really awkward.
