As I get closer to Level 30

The game gets less and less enjoyable. Maybe that's because more opponents know what they're doing so I have less room to mess around. Maybe I've stumbled into the territory of Meta cultists. Maybe I just don't like competitive games as much as I thought.

But as I've gotten further and further along, the fun has just dropped out my matches. I can't mess around with new champs or strategies without teammates yelling at me for being bad. Every loss has that douche who spams "EZ" after every kill. I see the same 20 champs in every match and all of them are no fun to play against.

Any tips to keep playing without hating myself? Aside from bot games. Pointing somebody to bot games for practice in League is like pointing somebody toward a man in a wheelchair for a footrace.

Turn off all chat and play the champions you like. Otherwise, this may not be the game for you.

Yup, just turn off all-chat, play champs you enjoy and/or just report everyone that says EZ under Verbal Abuse and you'll be fine.

20-30 people go try hard because they want to do ranked really bad. once 30 if you go into blind its bad but not as bad and you can goof around. people might hate but who cares its not ranked or draft so they can suck it.

"Maybe because more and more people know what they are doing" That is probably the reason. You just need to play 1 champ (your fav champ) until you can kill everybody and not rely on teammates. If you play support with somebody like Sona you should do good and have fun stealing kills until you get about 70 wins.

my condolences but its sounds like ur hitting that phase where you either make some friends to play with or you quit. i took a few months off lol and came back with friends never looked back since :D if you want you can add me and play some games :D

Turn off all chat for a while maybe, but also find some friends. The game becomes exponentially better with friends. Hope you find your enjoyment.
